Get started with your community fundraising

Fundraising for the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation is a great way to support our work and have fun at the same time!

Step one: Pick your fundraising activity

Our supporters have done it all, from trivia nights and morning teas to Birthday gifts and Bridge to Brisbane entries. If you want more inspiration, you can sign up for our community updates where you will hear all about the supporters who are helping us to turn Beliefs into Breakthroughs.

To help you plan your activity, we can provide a GMRF fundraising kit which will include:

  • ideas for your fundraiser from our current supporters
  • ways we can help you to have a successful fundraising activity
  • fundraising guidelines including your Authority to Fundraise form
  • guidelines on the use of the GMRF logo and images
  • how to donate the money and receive your tax receipt

Please contact Angela Maroney, our friendly Donor Relations Officer on (07) 3394 7284 or MaroneyA@ramsayhealth.com.au if you would like to receive a pack.

Step two: Let us know!

We love to see you having a good time while supporting the medical research that has the power to save lives. We will work with you to promote your event wherever we can, as well as providing you with any resources we have available.

We would also be happy to send you copies of our Tribute newsletter for you to distribute at your event. You could also follow us on Facebook.com/GallipoliResearch.

Step three: Start fundraising!

Where the real fun begins…

Our promise to you

GMRF is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient and donations of $2 or more to GMRF are tax deductible. Upon receipt of your fundraising gift, we will issue you with a letter containing your tax receipt.

We delight in keeping you informed on how your work is helping many people. We would be happy to send you our twice-yearly Tribute newsletter.

We acknowledge and respect your privacy. Any personal information is collected for the purposes of processing your donation or inquiry and/or keeping you informed of upcoming events, information and research.

If you have any questions, please contact us.
