Dr Katelyn Kerr is a clinical psychologist with extensive experience working with current and ex-serving military personnel from all three services. She holds the positions of: Lead Clinical Psychologist at Toowong Private Hospital Trauma Recovery Day Programs; Adjunct Principal Research Fellow at the Australian Institute for Suicide Research and Prevention; Expert Advisor for Women Veterans Australia; Clinical Governance Advisory Group Member for Mates4Mates; and Honorary Principal Research Fellow at GMRF.
Dr Kerr has acted as a consultant to various organisations and has been called as an expert witness for the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicides, the Senate Inquiry into Suicide by Veterans and Ex-Service Personnel, and the National Commissioner for Defence and Veteran Suicide Prevention. Her research interests include veteran PTSD and suicide prevention
