As of 10 November 2022, GMRF welcomes Dr Amanda Dines, Board Director, as the new Chair of GMRF. Dr Dines replaces Mr Liam Kelly KC as Chair of the Board.
For the past two years Dr Dines has been a Director of the GMRF Board and Chair of the Research Advisory Committee which have been instrumental in the continued academic success of the research foundation.
Dr Dines is the Director of Medical Services at Redcliffe Hospital in the Metro North Hospital and Health Service. She is an Air Commodore in the RoyalAustralian Air Force and currently the Director General Health Reserve – Air Force. Since 2014 she has also served as the Honorary Aide de Camp to the Governor General of Australia.
Dr Dines has been an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Queensland Medical School since 2018.
We sincerely thank Liam Kelly KC, for his voluntary commitment to the GMRF Board as both a Director and Chair since 2015.
