For the second year running, the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation Clinical Trials Unit, based at Greenslopes Private Hospital, has been awarded ARCS Favourite Investigational Site in Australia.

The Unit received the award at the ARCS Australia Annual Scientific Meeting, a national conference which showcases and supports research and development of medical technologies and therapeutics.

GMRF CEO Miriam Dwyer and Clinical Trials Manager Suzanne Elliott were at the conference to receive the award on behalf of the Unit and were delighted to be receiving the prestigious accolade yet again.

“It is such an honour to receive this award from our industry colleagues,” Miriam says.

“The Clinical Trials team does important and life-changing work; this is well deserved recognition of their dedication and professionalism.”

Suzanne and Miriam were at the ARCS conference to promote the work of the Clinical Trials Unit and the Ramsay Health Care Clinical Trial Network, which GMRF is working with to establish new clinical trials sites in Ramsay Health Care hospitals around the country.

This marks the third time the Clinical Trials Unit has been recognised as Favourite Investigational Site, having also received the award in 2014.
