At 11am on the 11th of November, we will pause to remember the sacrifices made for us by the brave men and women who have served this country. This year, Remembrance Day will hold special significance as we commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the end of the First World War.
We are asking you to be involved in our Change for Change initiative. A simple, low-effort fundraising campaign which encourages your members or customers to make a gold coin donation to the work of the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation (GMRF).
How can I be involved?
All you need to do is register and we will send you a Change for Change Kit with a donation box for you to display on your counter, and a poster to explain the campaign. After the day, you simply have to bank the donations with the deposit ticket provided. We can also email you images and content for promotion of Change for Change through social media, web and email.
Where does your support go?
GMRF is committed to enhancing the health and wellbeing of our veterans and their families. We aim to address the impact of service through medical research in fields such as posttraumatic stress disorder, the transition from service to civilian, and physical illnesses such as fatty liver disease and liver cancer.
The in-kind support we receive from Greenslopes Private Hospital and the income of our clinical trials unit ensures 100% of your fundraising efforts go directly to medical research.
Easy How to Guide
1. Assemble your box in the lead up to Remembrance Day
2. Put up the poster to let people know what they are donating for
2. Put the box somewhere public but safe
3. At the end of the day, collect the takings and deposit using the slip provided
