Atlas’ goal is to ensure that all Canadian Armed Forces and Royal Canadian Mounted Police veterans, and their families, have access to support and services that reflect their experiences and meet their needs.

A strong partnership with Queensland’s premier mental health research organisation (QCMHR) to deliver outcomes in veterans’ mental health, using GMRS’s significant expertise in this area.

A long-standing partnership, which has delivered several research projects, including current studies into veteran health literacy and chronic pain in female veterans.

A 13-year partnership, from which 42 research projects have been delivered and 40 studies published.

An inaugural partnership commencing in 2025 to deliver the Middle East Area of Operations Scoping Study.

GMR has worked with the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) on several projects, including emerging treatment for common mental health conditions affecting veterans.
