About
Carers of veterans face unique burdens, such as secondary trauma and limited support networks. With approximately one in every five veterans medically discharged from the ADF, the number of carers needed to provide care to veterans continues to grow.
Without a deeper understanding of their challenges and stronger support systems, we risk facing a hidden crisis.

Help us understand the costs, and health and wellbeing impacts of informal care in military families.
Who is eligible to participate?
If you are:
- an adult who has been in a caregiver role to an ill or injured ADF family member for more than two weeks in the past six months, OR
- aged 12-18 years and from a family with such a care giver.
