If you’ve served in the ADF, we want your insights
Whether your transition from the ADF has been smooth, difficult, or somewhere in between—your experience matters.
Leaving the military is a major life change, full of opportunities and challenges. Gallipoli Medical Research, in partnership with RSL Queensland, is developing a new online training program to support ADF members as they prepare for civilian life—and you can help shape it.
Your participation is completely confidential and will not affect any DVA claims or your involvement with RSL Queensland.

What’s involved
-
- A quick phone call to check eligibility
- A short survey about your transition experience (<15 minutes)
- Option 1: an individual consultation via Zoom (up to 1-hour); or
- Option 2: a small group consultation via Zoom (1.5–2 hour)
You can pick the option that suits you best pending availability.
Who can take part
- Anyone who left full-time ADF service in the past 12 months
- Separation can be voluntary, retired, medical, or administrative
Why get involved
Your input will directly shape a practical, research-based training resource that supports others through transition. No one understands that journey better than those who’ve lived it.
Consultations will run until February 2026.
Participants will receive a $50 e-voucher as a thank-you for their time.
