Is someone in your family experiencing, or has experienced, a transition out of the Australian Defence Force?
OR
Have you experienced a transition out of the Australian Defence Force yourself?
Gallipoli Medical Research has launched an online survey study to understand the strengths and needs of Australian families transitioning from military to civilian life. The military-civilian transition can significantly impact the health and wellbeing of both ADF members and families. However, little is known about the experiences and needs of families during this time. This survey study will help us achieve our overarching aim, which is to create helpful resources for transitioning families.
We are seeking:
- Ex-serving ADF members
- Family of current & ex-serving ADF members:
- Parents
- Partners
- Adolescents (12-18 years)
You can take part in the study on your own or by inviting other family members. You would complete an online survey about how you see your family, family relationships, mental health and your experiences of the military-civilian transition. Surveys will take about 15 to 35 minutes to complete, and responses are confidential.
