Clinical Trial Coordinator
Sogol has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Epidemiology. She began her research career in Natural health and Nutraceuticals, before moving on to a research assistant role working with the orthopaedic surgeons at Brisbane Private Hospital. The work focused on investigator led research, looking at patient outcomes with respect to different surgical techniques and biomedical implants.
Following this role, Sogol began working in Phase I trials, specialising in Malaria Challenge studies and COVID-19 vaccine studies. She joined the GMRF Clinical Trials Unit in late 2020 as a Clinical Trials Coordinator. As part of this role, she looks forward to strengthening her foundations in oncology research.
