    Miriam Dwyer

Miriam joined GMRF in 2011 and, in the role of CEO, she combines her deep belief in the power of medical research with the practical reality of funding and facilitating the research endeavours of the scientists at the bench and the clinicians at the bedside. Working closely with the Chair of the Board of Directors, Miriam provides direction and leadership to the formulation and achievement of the GMRF’s goals and objectives. Miriam is responsible for the overall management and administration of the GMRF in the execution of the Board’s strategy and policies.

Miriam is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland School of Medicine and serves on the Board of Mates4Mates and the Commando Welfare Trust. Miriam is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and successfully completed the AICD Company Directors Course.
