    Elise Saunders-Dow

Elise Saunders-Dow is a research assistant with the Veteran Mental Health Initiative at the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation. At the University of Queensland, Elise has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science with First Class Honours in 2018, and worked as a Research Assistant with the School of Psychology. In volunteer roles, Elise has assisted with research at UQ Recover Injury Research Centre, and provided assistance at the Queensland Children’s Hospital and Hadden Place Dementia Respite.

Elise is passionate about improving the quality of life of individuals, and has assisted on projects involving cognitive perception, hazard perception, older employees (stereotype threat), and pain management (chronic pain and opioid use).
