Congratulations to GMR Liver Cancer Research Lead and Research Fellow Dr Xiaowen (Tina) Liang, who recently presented her research at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Asia Congress 2025 in Singapore.
Dr Liang presented a poster on her research about targeting a tumours’ microenvironment can improve treatment response in primary liver cancer, providing a strong rationale for future clinical trials to enhance chemotherapy effectiveness. This research is now published in the ESMO Asia Congress 2025 Abstract Book, a supplement to Annals of Oncology.
We’re also proud to share that Dr Liang was awarded Best Poster – Gastrointestinal Tumours (non-colorectal), selected from more than 500 posters presented at the congress — an outstanding achievement.
