Cyril Gilbert Testimonial Dinner
The Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation and Greenslopes Private Hospital are celebrating the extraordinary life of Mr Cyril Gilbert OAM. Invitations have been issued a limited place Testimonial Dinner to be held in October.
Cyril has been a high-profile advocate and mentor for the veteran and Ex-Prisoner of War communities since returning from war in 1945. He is also a valued board member of the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation.
In recognition of Cyril’s significant contribution to the veteran community the Foundation has also established the Cyril Gilbert Testimonial Fund to raise money for cancer research being conducted onsite in the Gallipoli Medical Research Centre.
In addition to donations from individuals, families and organisations, all proceeds from the Testimonial Dinner will be donated to the Fund. A silent auction and raffles will be available on the night. |
