Murray Fox Golf Day 14 September 2007 Thiess Qld/Northern Territory/Pacific (QNP) has held the annual Murray Fox Golf Day since 2005 to help raise money for melanoma cancer research. This year's fundraising golf day was held on Friday 14 September at the Brookwater Golf Club in aid of the Gallipoli Research Foundation.
Sadly, QNP General Manager, Murray Fox, passed away in July 2005. In the latter stages of his disease, Murray participated in the immune therapy research being conducted by Associate Professor Andrew Nicol. It was the suggestion of Murray 's widow Jenny that the Gallipoli Research Foundation would be a fitting recipient of funds raised at the 2007 Murray Fox Golf Day.
The Foundation is extremely grateful to Thiess and Jenny Fox for supporting research through the Gallipoli Research Foundation.
