Ann
O'Connor is a Brisbane-born ceramic artist, sculptor and art jeweller.
She has studied with the Australian Flying Art School , completed
a Diploma of Teaching at Central Queensland University majoring
in art, completed a TAFE Certificate in Studio Ceramics and studied
silversmithing and jewellery making.
Ann
has collections in the Central Queensland University , John Paul
College , Redcliffe City Council Art Gallery , Pine Rivers Shire
Council Regional Gallery and Crows Nest Shire Council Regional Gallery.
She also has work in private collections in Australia , New Zealand
, Japan , England , Norway , the United States , Italy , Taiwan
and France .
In
2002 she was commissioned by the Premier's Department to design
and make Queensland Day Awards. Ann has won numerous awards for
her work and has been involved in many exhibitions.
This
year she has showcased art in the Pine Rivers Art Awards Invitational
Winners Retrospective Exhibition and the Moreton Bay Regional Council
Invitational Talent Pool Art Exhibition. She was selected for the
Pine Rivers Sixteenth Annual Art Awards, the Redcliffe Craft Awards
and the Ignition Awards for Excellence on the Sunshine Coast .
