Ian Laver
Represented by Marks and Gardner
An established artist for many years, Ian’s new paintings
display a natural progression from the still life work of the last
decade to more intimate details of the actual plants (individual
trees, fruit, and flowers). In Ian’s own words, his art practice
has reflected his lifestyle change; a quieter life emersed in yoga
practice is reflected in the works (no longer dark with serious overtones)
to a lightly romantic and mysterious rendition of images from nature.
Ian is however an artist not to be taken lightly with over 20 solo
and group exhibitions spanning a 20 year period. He was one of sixteen
artists recently selected to exhibit in the Redcliffe City Gallery
Exhibition and his work is now held in their public collection.
