Wound Management

The Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation (GMRF) have recently forged a relationship with the Wounds Management Innovation Co-operative Research Centre (WMI CRC) as a participant, to undertake research into wound management.

The aim of the WMI CRC which has been set up with funding from the Federal Government is to work with their participants to improve wound healing and quality of life for people with wounds, and provide cost-effective wound care that lessens the burden on the health system.(WMI CRC 2010)
