Where your money goes

Your donations help to fund research; researchers and the vital equipment they need. Examples of how your gifts could be spent:

  • $35 could help to pay for a research nurse for one hour – every
hour of research could help to save a life

  • $50 a month could help to pay for critical equipment monitoring – preserving cells, vaccines and cultures

  • $100 could help to pay for enough liquid nitrogen to store live cells
for six weeks in the research laboratories

  • $10,000 could help to pay for a Clinical Trial Nurse to assist with
a melanoma trial for three months

  • $50,000 could help to pay for a Senior Scientist for six months to undertake ground breaking and independent research into new targeted therapies for leukaemia
