Amanda Mason

Amanda Mason joined the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation in December 2007 as a clinical trial coordinator. Amanda has been a nurse for over 24 years and has worked in several specialised nursing areas. Amanda has worked on Phase I-IV clinical trials since her employment. Amanda has an interest in Hepatitis C treatment and helps coordinate the Liver Clinic here at Greenslopes Private Hospital. Amanda’s focus is in supporting, educating and providing optimal care to all of her patients.

Susan Champion

Susan Champion joined the Foundation in September 2009 as Clinical Trial Coordinator. Susan has been employed as a registered nurse since 1975 and has been working in clinical research for the last 25 years both as coordinator and manager. Susan has extensive relevant experience having worked in Phase I-IV Clinical Trials. Susan’s focus is in promoting excellence in research at GMRF and in contributing to improving community health both locally and globally through research.

Jessica Gregg

Jessica Gregg joined the Foundation in March 2010 as a Clinical Trial Coordinator. Jessica has a science background particularly in biotechnology and biochemistry and been involved in Clinical Trial Research for a number of years. Jessica has extensive experience particularly in Phase I-III Clinical Trials, working with a number of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Jessica has valuable experience and knowledge in patient care in addition to quality assurance and Good Clinical Practice. Jessica’s focus is to provide a professional and high standard approach to clinical research and representing the Foundation.

April Josephsen

April Josephsen joined the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation in July 2011 as the Ethics Coordinator/Compliance Officer for our Clinical Trials Unit. April commenced work as a graduate Registered Nurse in 1997 and has been extensively involved in various aspects of cancer care since that time including inpatient Haematology/Oncology and Palliative care, Apheresis, Day Oncology and Haematology Research as a Clinical Trial Coordinator/Research Nurse. In more recent years April worked as a Clinical Trial Administrator/Ethics Coordinator across Haematology and Oncology Phase I-IV Sponsored, Collaborative Group and Investigator Initiated Research. April has a keen interest in Ethics and Regulatory Affairs and enjoys supporting Investigators and colleagues in their efforts to conduct Research which we hope will ultimately prove to be of positive benefit and lead to further improvements in patient treatment choices, care and outcomes.
